 Target species:

Cattle (calves), sheep (lambs), goats (kids), pigs and horses.

Indications for use:

For the treatment of gastrointestinal diseases in calves, lambs, kids, pigs, and horses caused by germs sensitive to sulfaguanidine and sulfadimidine.

Contraindications:

• Do not administer to animals with known hypersensitivity to sulfonamides.

• Avoid use in cases of severe renal or hepatic insufficiency.

Dosage and route of administration:

Administer orally. The recommended dose is 20 mg of sulfaguanidine and 18.4 mg of sulfadimidine per kg of body weight per day. This equates to 20g of product (approximately one tablespoon) per 100 kg of body weight per day, administered for 3 to 4 days. It can be given mixed in a little water or milk using a bottle or drug syringe, or for horses, mixed with a small quantity of palatable food.
