Indications for use :

Used for the treatment and prevention of infections in an infected environment caused by germs sensitive to flumequine:

• Poultry: For the treatment and prevention of respiratory, digestive, and septicemic infections caused by Escherichia coli, Salmonella sp., and Pasteurella sp.

• Calves: For the treatment and prevention of digestive infections caused by Escherichia coli and Salmonella sp., and respiratory infections caused by Pasteurella multocida and Mannheimia haemolytica. 

Contraindications :

• Do not use in animals with known hypersensitivity to quinolones.

• Not for use in laying poultry (refer to the withdrawal period section). 

Dosage and route of administration :

• Poultry: Administer orally at a dosage of 12 mg of flumequine per kg of live weight per day for 5 days. The concentration of flumequine in the drinking water should be adjusted based on the animals' physiological and clinical condition to ensure the recommended dosage.

• Calves: Administer 12 mg of flumequine per kg of body weight per day for 5 days, orally. 

Withdrawal period :

• Meat and offal: 2 days

• Eggs: Do not use in species producing eggs for consumption within 4 weeks before laying or during the laying period.
