Target species:

Cattle, sheep and pigs.

Indications for use:

• Cattle: Treatment of infestations by gastrointestinal nematodes, lungworms, eyeworms, mange mites, and lice in non-lactating dairy cows. It is effective against various parasites, including Ostertagia ostertagi, Haemonchus placei, Trichostrongylus axei, Dictyocaulus viviparus, and more. It also offers extended protection from reinfestation for up to 21 days after treatment for some parasites.

• Sheep: Treatment of infestations with Psoroptes ovis (sheep scab), gastrointestinal nematodes, lungworms, and nasal botflies (Oestrus ovis).

• Pigs: Treatment of infestations by gastrointestinal nematodes, lungworms, lice, and porcine scabies mites. 

Contraindications :
• Do not use in lactating dairy cows and sheep producing milk for human consumption.

• Do not use in dry dairy cows, including pregnant dairy heifers, or non-lactating dairy ewes within 60 days of calving or lambing.

• Do not use in animals with known hypersensitivity to ivermectin.

• Do not administer intravenously or intramuscularly. 

Dosage and route of administration:

Administer as a single subcutaneous injection, except in cases of Psoroptes ovisinfestation in sheep, which requires two injections 7 days apart.

• Cattle: 200 micrograms of ivermectin per kg of body weight (1 ml of solution per 50 kg) injected subcutaneously.

• Sheep: 200 micrograms of ivermectin per kg of body weight (0.5 ml per 25 kg), injected subcutaneously in the neck. For Psoroptes ovis infestations, two injections are necessary.

• Pigs: 300 micrograms of ivermectin per kg of body weight (1.5 ml per 50 kg), injected subcutaneously.

For small animals, use a syringe capable of delivering precise volumes to avoid overdosing. 

Withdrawal period:

• Meat and Offal:

      o Cattle: 49 days

      o Sheep: 42 days

      o Pigs: 28 days

• Milk: Do not use in lactating dairy cows and sheep producing milk for human consumption. Do not use in dry dairy cows or ewes within 60 days of calving or lambing.
