Target species :

Calves, lambs, kids, pigs and poultry.

Indications for use :

For the treatment and prevention of septicemia, respiratory infections, and digestive infections in calves, lambs, kids, pigs, and poultry caused by bacteria sensitive to oxytetracycline, particularly in infected environments.

Contraindications :

• Do not use in animals with known allergies to oxytetracycline or other tetracyclines.

• Do not use in cases of known resistance to tetracyclines. 

Dosage and route of administration :

Administer orally:

• Calves, Lambs, Kids, Pigs: 20 mg of oxytetracycline per kg of body weight per day for 3 to 5 days, which equates to 2g of powder per 10 kg of body weight daily, divided into two doses. Administer in milk, liquid food, or drinking water.

• Poultry: 20 mg of oxytetracycline per kg of body weight per day for 3 to 5 days, which corresponds to 2g of powder per liter of drinking water. The dosage should be adjusted based on the animals' actual consumption to ensure the recommended amount is administered. 

Withdrawal period :

• Meat and Offal: 7 days

• Eggs: Zero days
