PRESENTATIONS:

COMPOSITION:
Doxycycline (s.f. hyclate) ....................... 50 g
Excipient q.s.p .......................................100 g
INDICATIONS:
In poultry (including turkeys), calves and pigs: diseases caused by germs sensitive to Doxycycline and in particular the prevention and treatment of respiratory and digestive infections.
DOSAGE AND METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION:
Oral route, to be mixed in drinking water or milk, in 1 or 2 daily doses for 4 to 6 days:
- Poultry (turkey included), Pigs: 10 mg of Doxycycline per kg of body weight per day, i.e. 2 g of DOXYMED® 50% per 100 kg of body weight per day, or 0.2 g of DOXYMED® 50% per liter of drinking water per day.
- Calf: 10 mg of Doxycycline per kg of body weight per day, i.e. 0.02 g of DOXYMED® 50% per kg of body weight and per day.
WAITING TIMES:
Turkeys: 6 days. Other poultry: 4 days, Calves: 14 days. Pigs: 6 days.
STORAGE:
24 months. Keep cool and dry.
